The Superior Court of California, County of Alameda, provides public access to civil case information online with DomainWeb. DomainWeb includes information about General Civil, Probate and Family Law cases. Images of documents for General Civil cases can be viewed and printed. Images are also available for Probate cases for documents filed after January 31, 2006, except for conservatorships, guardianships and confidential documents. Documents in Family Law cases cannot be viewed online via DomainWeb, but can be viewed in person at the court location where the case file is stored. DomainWeb does not include Criminal, Juvenile, or Traffic cases. Information about traffic citations is available here
On the DomainWeb Calendar Information
page, you can select a date and court location to view calendars for departments that hear the above mentioned types of cases. You can see the types of calendars that are heard in each department.
If you know your case number, you can use the DomainWeb Case Summary
page, where you can view the parties to a case, the Register of Actions and the minutes, and dates for future hearings, as well as view and/or print images of the case documents (within the limitations listed above).
Cases are designated complex if, pursuant to California Rule of Court 3.400, they require exceptional judicial management to avoid placing unnecessary burdens on the court or the litigants. See the DomainWeb Complex Litigation page for information on these cases.
